Surprisingly, when I access the FYP website, and look at the winner, I was listing in TOP 5.. Syukran Jazilan Ya Allah..This is what we call, an effort with much fatigue, will be rewarded with a great and sweet of successfull. Alhamdulillah,Praise be to Allah.

Week 14 : Engineer's Day
Assalamualaikum.
Finally, the day that we are waiting so long was arrived, Industrial Day or as known as Engineers Day among UniKL's BMI inhabitant. This event was held in an Administration Building of UniKL BMI at level 3,4,5, and 6... I've been placed in level 5 for my presentation session.
While waiting for my asessor, Mr Alias Mohd Noor (AMN) , and Mr Mohd Zubir bin Suboh, my partner and I was testing our project again and again to make sure it was function smoothly. Alhamdulillah, there has no problem with our project.
We need to present about our project to both of our assessor, & need to answer all the question as good as we can. We try to do our best in our presentation. At first, we decide to present our project using our power point slide that we have prepare, but, we cancel it and decide to present it only using our poster. For me, We must doing something different with the other group.
After we have presenting our project, we need to go to Gemilang Hall to get our results. and after getting our lunch, my friends and I was going to Gemilang Hall with a nervous feeling. While we are waiting for the result, I have receive one SMS from unknown number, who says, "You are selected for top 20, please turn up and bring your project to Gemilang Hall. Fail to do so will effect your grading,TQ" ..

Week 13 : Industrial Day Preparation
Assalamualaikum.
Industrial Day, formally known as Engineers Day among the UniKL BMI's inhabitant will be held on next week, 8th November 2012, on Thursday.
Our project was done 100% . But we must doing the preparation to our presentation on that day.

This week make me feel very tired. I need to going out everyday in order to buy something for our engineer's day preparation. We need to prepare so many things, such as a poster, a brochure, table cloth, ribbon and also on.
For Poster, my partner and I had to walk to Islamic International University Malaysia (IIUM) in order to print out our poster in A1 size.

Week 12 : Housing
Assalamualaikum..
Alhamdulillah, after we done our PIC programming, now our project progress has reach about 9O % completed. We need to put a housing for our project in order to make sure our project look clean & tidy.
We make a decision to put plastic housing to protect our circuit. Both of the wire which is left out from this housing is to be connected to the output (fan). We will buy a fan as soon as possible we can.
This is the latest look for our project.

Week 11 : PIC Programming
Assalamualaikum.
The main things of our project is programming. Without programming, our project is totally like a human without brains. Here we have some problems. We are not good in programming and we just have a little bit knowledge about it. So, after make a contact with my ex-lecturer at Institute Kemahiran Mara Beseri, Madam Noor Hanum bt Tayib & Mr Nizar bin Khalid, they was welcome us to go and see them in IKM to learn about PIC. Besides, I learn it from my friend ( student from UTHM) in order to complete our programming task.
Thanks to all who are helping me and my partner. May Allah give much bless to all of you guys!

Week 10 : Combination

Week 9 : Trobleshooting
Assalamualaikum..
According to our Gantt chart, we should doing a troubleshooting in this week. But we cannot done the troubleshooting by this week due to our uncomplete circuit construction. This is because as a student, we have a lot of task and assignment to be completed at the same time. But we will try our best in order to make sure our project progression will be done as planned.
We still able to do the troubleshooting only for the sensor circuit. After the circuit was constructed on the breadboard, we find that the circuit are not function,so I think we need to change the LM35, because in my opinion, LM35 is the one which need to be change because this type of component's are very sensitive.

Week 7: Circuit Design
Assalamualaikum..
I hope you guys still can perform our fasting's obligation as long as we are able to do so. This week, I've doing a pre-sketch of our circuits. I start with a description for our project's block diagram. The picture that I have upload above is a pre-sketch of our block diagram.
We are using LM35 (temperature sensor) as our Input. Referring to the PIC datasheet, the input will connected to A0 pin at PIC. LCD and PIC pin will be used in the process category. Since we are not proficient in PIC Programming, so we had to commute to Perlis every week to learn about the PIC Programming from our ex-lecturer in IKM Perlis & ILP Perlis.
The LCD screen will show us the output that we have set up in the PIC. To produce the output, we have a little bit of problem, we had a confuse either we want to produce our output using fans, or any other devices. So for the output, we need to hold it process first, and we will decide it after having a discussion with our supervisor, Madam Naszariah.

Week 6 : Off to Jalan Pasar
Hello Assalamualaikum guys.
Before I proceed to my project progress, I want to apologize to all of the readers especially to my supervisor for not updating my blog for a few weeks. I'm busy right now with the other commitment such as a lot of assignments and laboratory need to be done.
It is the time for us to design our circuits. As I mention before, Our project will consist 3 circuits :
- PIC Circuit
- Transistor Drive Relay Circuit
- Temperature Sensor circuit
Today I would like to show you a part of component's that we bought at Jalan Pasar. I did not put all the component in today's entry due to the component that still not been purchased.
We search every single place at Jalan Pasar, but we are only get a few of components. It is because we are arrived late from our estimation time. InsyaAllah, we will go back there to get all next weekend.

Alhamdulillah, Now we have been entered the third phase of fasting month. May Allah give forgiveness and a lot of mercy for us, Insya-Allah..
After doing some research and discussion about our project, we are able to list down our component that we need in our project. This is require us to go to Jalan Pasar, Kuala Lumpur to obtain the necessary item, I mean an electronics component, and all of the devices that we need for our project.

week 4 : Our Greatest Plan !
Hello Assalamualaikum readers..
On this week, we are starting for doing our final report. As I told you before, we need to prepare a great plan to make sure our vision will accomplish on time. So, using Microsoft project software, we are creating a Gantt Chart in order to ensure that our project construction progress will be proceeded smoothly.

Week 2 : INTRODUCTION TO OUR PROJECT
Assalamualaikum..
" Smart Temperature Controller " that we will construct is adapted from UniKL's magazines (epe 10-07) on tittle Coldalert Hypothermia Alarm. We are approach to make a changes in that project especially for its function.
Our "Smart Temperature Controller " consist of a combination of a several circuits and will be function when the room temperature reach out to the high temperature. Let me explain the project operation for this project.
Assuming that our room temperature is 27 degree celcius. At the project, we've already set the temperature of 35 degree. When the room temperature achieve the 35 degree and above, the temperature sensor circuit will sent the signal to the micro-controller circuit to turn on the relay, the relay will be placed on the transistor drive relay circuit and the relay will turn on the fan in order to decrease the room temperature.
When the temperature is below than 35 degree, the temperature sensor circuit will sent the signal again to the micro-controller circuit to turn on the relay, and the relay on the transistor drive relay circuits will turn off the fan automatically.
On the first week, we was attend the briefing and we are required to provide a blog for this project in order to express our project details in it. On this week also my partner (NURUL ATIQAH) and I was doing some research regarding this project and we already formulate the greatest plan for our project progress.
When the temperature is below than 35 degree, the temperature sensor circuit will sent the signal again to the micro-controller circuit to turn on the relay, and the relay on the transistor drive relay circuits will turn off the fan automatically.
